Hi!! Tomorrow is Halloween.   In recent years , it has been celebrated vigorously in Japan , and the decoration of Halloween has been done in various places. By the way , do you know the origin of it ? Halloween ’ s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The Celts , who lived 2 , 000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland , the United Kingdom and northern France , celebrated their new year on November 1.  This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark , cold winter , a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year , the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. Hello, Today I would like to ask your opinion about taking a gap year. In our school there is a course that you can enter university in fall term and take all the classes in English. Do you think it’s a good system? I think most student who takes this course would probably go abroad during the period. I would like to list up the pros and cons.   Pros • The experiences you gain can make you better prepared for university, both academically and socially • It’s probably the longest 'holiday' you will ever get in your life • You can use some or all of the time to earn money for university, taking the pressure of your finances • You can learn new skills • Volunteering gives you the opportunity to help people   Cons • If you want to travel it could be expensive. • It’s risky. • You may be behind you friends who go to university. • If you don’t plan, you may end up spending your gap doing nothing.   W...

  Last Monday was one of my best friend's birthday. My friend and I went to Shinjuku to find her birthday present the other day. We talked a lot to plan how to surprise her. Thinking of her birthday surprise and imagining her delighted face were throbbing. It was like planing a trip.  But why do I get more excited than having my own birthday. ( In my old days my birthday was the best ) Is this common thing to all of us ?    Well let me talk about us. We belonged in the same tennis club in high school. The personality of each of us is truly disjointed , but being together with them , I get very calm. They are my best friends and I'm happy to have met them. I think that there are much more encounters in the future. But they are my lifetime friends and I would like to cherish our relationship.

Today I went to my alma mater's school festival with my friends. Annual , there are few visitors in the morning as typhoons overlap but today the weather has been good and it was so crowded! I was in a tennis club and at the school festival , we sold tonjiru ( miso soup with pork and vegetables ) and seaweed rice. Making tonjiru was very not so difficult but it was a hard work cutting a huge amount of meat and vegetables. In my alma mater , third graders take command of the festival and first and second graders opens the store. My juniors worked very well and the meal was very delicious. Meeting with them I got much power. Also I remembered my two years ago. I wish I could be a high school student again. But that's impossible. So I will live with my full power now so that in the future I could feel that I would likedia to return to today.

 The date has already passed. It's now Tuesday. All my other family have gone to bed. So quiet that I can hear the sound of rain. I'm sure that it's not that strong.  Well, today I'd like to write about my new bicycle. Maybe some of you think haven't ridden for a long time but in fact I ride it almost every day. I live in Tokyo,  quite a convenient place that I can go almost everywhere with my bicycle. So, as a mean of transport, the bicycle is very important for me. I bought my new bicycle the other day in the Internet. It arrived home last week but it was left home for a week because it had to be assembled. Assembling it was easier and more fun than I expected. Today I had my first ride. (Lukkly it was not raining that time.) It made me really excited and I remembered the day when I got on my bicycle.    Hello , my name is Kotone. l'm a university student. My hobby is to play tennis. I was in a tennis club when I was in junior high school and high school. That means that I have been playing tennis for 6 years. I'm now in a tennis society.    I was born in Singapore and I lived in Malaysia until I was 7years old. Ten years have passed since then but Malaysia is my second home country. I really really miss my friends and the foods.    Next , let me introduce my family. I have a big sister and a big brother. They both play tennis and we sometimes play together. My brother is in the same faculty and we are also in the same tennis society. We occasionally have a quarrel but I we get along very well.
